Three things we assess before any restaurant makes the map
We arrange a time to visit your restaurant and try a selection of dishes from the menu. During the visit, we assess three areas: the food, the atmosphere, and the service. If your restaurant meets our standard across all three, it can earn a place on the SRVD map, subject to a final decision from the SRVD dining team.

Fill in the application form with your restaurant details, location, and a brief description of what you serve. This takes a few minutes and there is no fee to apply.
02 / We visit your restaurant
Experience the food, service, and atmosphere firsthand
We arrange a time to visit your restaurant and experience the food, the service, and the atmosphere firsthand. Our SRVD member will try a selection of dishes from the menu and assess the full dining experience during the visit.
03 / We assess against our criteria
Food, service, and atmosphere evaluated in person
Your restaurant is assessed on food, service, and atmosphere. We look for consistency, care, and a genuine commitment to the dining experience. We are not looking for perfection, we are looking for restaurants that take pride in what they do.
04 / You receive our decision
Accepted restaurants join the SRVD map
If your restaurant meets the standard, we add it to the SRVD map and get in touch to set up your venue profile, including photos, menus, and any member-only privileges you want to offer. If it does not meet the standard, the result is kept strictly confidential.
05 / Start reaching SRVD members
Your restaurant goes live on the curated map
Once listed, your restaurant appears on the SRVD map alongside other independently assessed venues across Hertfordshire and North London. Members can browse your profile and save your restaurant to their shortlist to book.

Does it cost anything to join SRVD?
There’s a free tier to browse the map and see which restaurants have been assessed. Paid membership unlocks additional privileges, and our upcoming Status tier will add a full points system on top.
How does the assessment work?
Every restaurant is visited in person by the SRVD team before it’s added to the map. We assess the food, service, and atmosphere, and only restaurants that meet our standard across all three make the cut.
Can I suggest a restaurant to be added to the map?
Yes — get in touch with the details and we’ll consider it for assessment. We can’t guarantee every suggestion makes the map, but we look at every one.
What’s the difference between free and paid membership?
Free members can browse the full map and see which restaurants have been assessed. Paid members unlock extra privileges, including access to Deal of the Week and priority features as they roll out.
How do I earn and redeem points or rewards?
Points build up every time you dine at a restaurant on the SRVD map, and go toward rewards like a meal on us at one of our top-tier venues. Full details land with the Status tier.
